Romans 1:1-4 (NIV)
1Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God— 2the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures 3regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life (1:3 Or who according to the flesh) was a descendant of David, 4and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power (1:4 Or was declared with power to be the Son of God) by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.

Matthew 3:16-17 (NIV)
16As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
